Mike’s 50th Libertyville Private Birthday Party
Mike’s Libertyville private birthday party was a great gig! Our performers for this event were Greg Percifield and Kaitlyn Pinkos. As a matter of fact, this was the perfect duo to perform at the birthday bash mingling and joking with an awesome crowd. In addition to awesome birthday decorations, there were delicious food stations throughout the basement.
Someone spent a lot of time decorating the basement! For example, large balloon towers flanked the fireplace. Furthermore, everywhere you looked the walls were covered with fun party decor. Guests relaxed on a large U-shaped leather couch while there were multiple gaming tables that we needed to work around. Greg and Kaitlyn did a great job setting up using the smallest amount of space possible. To be honest, the Bose Tower system really helped make this possible.
By the time cocktail hour rolled around we felt like family. Everyone was so welcoming. In view of the Libertyville private birthday party being in a neighborhood, we needed to keep our sound in check. Needless to say that did not stop us from rocking out songs such as Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. It wasn’t long before everyone had a great time performing The Harlem Shuffle by The Rolling Stones. Who knew this basement could hold shuffle moves on a limited dance floor?
A Fun Birthday Bash!
Mike’s Libertyville private birthday party was catered by a local business specializing in BBQ. Felix and Fingers can appreciate good food and looked forward to an amazing meal. Guests took a break from dancing to dine on smoked Carolina pulled pork sandwiches with a side of baked beans. The fresh slaw was incredible. Just the right amount of horseradish! Coincidentally, the catering company referred us to this birthday party. The gentleman in charge of catering introduced himself to us and informed our performers he had seen our show once before. In all honesty a referral is the best kind of compliment we can receive!
At about an hour into the party Greg and Kaitlyn sang Happy Birthday then took a short break while everyone enjoyed their cake. After our break it was back to what we do best…PARTY. Songs from the 80’s such as You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC were a HUGE sing along hit with the crowd. As we moved into the 90’s it was shoulder to shoulder on the floor with All that She Wants by Ace of Bass and Windowlicker by Aphex Twin. Have you ever licked a window? It became clear to Greg and Kaitlyn this demonically twisted, slo-mo banger was a techno acid-house crowd favorite!
