Before the show started Austin and I discussed that soft music (dj style) would be played during dinner, he told me he would be in a specific area of the venue (inside) and to just give him a thumbs up when we were ready for them to start the dueling pianos. After majority of the guests had received their dinner and were about finished eating I started looking for Austin, I could not find him or Ashley for roughly 20+ minutes. They finally arrived after being outside for that duration of time. They started the dueling pianos and played until roughly 7:30 (ish) we paused the show to present our employee service awards (15 employees received an award) Austin requested my cellphone number so he could text me and then I would be able to respond when we were ready to proceed with the show. I texted him at 7:58 with no response, I texted again at 8:08 again with no response, I had another coworker call while I was busy and he stated that he had not received the texts, even though they had shown delivered. The both came in from outside and proceeded with the show. The music and performance was overall a good show it was just frustrating both performers, Ashley and Austin leaving the venue when we paid so much for the show itself.
