This is more for the performers than for the client: if your performers have dietary restrictions, it might be best to let the client know ahead of the performance to ensure s/he has a meal that meets those restrictions. One of the pianists at our event had a dietary restriction and our buffet options did not accommodate it. Thankfully the restaurant was able to make a separate dish for him. It did not bother me in the least and I was glad he could have a meal that he could eat. We have guests who have dietary restrictions and I requested different entrees for them in advance and I could have done the same for him. So, just for the performers' benefit, letting clients know about dietary restrictions could be helpful.
Again, this is not a complaint and I was happy he could order a separate dish. I would just worry that might not be possible in other situations (e.g. catered off-site).

I received multiple comments from our guests who were very impressed with his talents, especially his singing. Teddy Swims to Dolly Parton is some serious range 🙂 and several guests appreciated the Johnny Cash medley.
