The phone meeting that was not set up until two weeks before our event was a bit stressful. And it was initially proposed to be a week before instead. I was also not sure who I should communicate with through this. Michael was my initial contact but it was difficult to get a response from him many times. And then we were supposed to be introduced to Kate as a contact yet never received any details about her. And our final contact was Duncan two weeks before but he still had questions he had to refer me back to Michael about and I never received any sort of physical document of the plan/needs for the event (electrical requirements, load in time, etc) to refer back to, it was all discussed via phone but nothing ever in writing after that. In general, a single point of contact with easier availability would be best.
The night of the event was fantastic, the guests seemed to enjoy themselves, but I was a bit disappointed in playing time. I didn't find out until the meeting with Duncan that the playing time was only 2 1/2 hours. I felt that there should have been some flexibility when it came time to shutting down (check to see if we want to add on time) and it was definitely a bit of a letdown to know that I had originally planned on having dueling pianos the entire first hour of cocktail hour but we had to adjust that as well to ensure there was enough playing for the end of the evening.
