We used you for a wedding last summer for my other daughter, and we had seen you at a wedding the year before that for one of her friends.

Because we used you last summer (Mike Sherman), I think my expectations were higher. I'm still glad we did it, but it wasn't quite the same.
The performers just weren't quite as good as the ones we had used/seen before. Nothing bad of course, just not quite as charismatic/engaging and their style of singing wasn't as appealing. The first guy there (Jim I think) did all the setup and seemed to be working very hard, handled all of the "DJ/Emcee" role and did it very well, very professional, etc. We were told the second guy was coming from a distance and assured he would be there, but it was making us a little bit nervous the later it got - we were well into dinner before the second guy arrived, just shortly before the 'performance' part was supposed to start. Also, small point, but when you tell clients to provide a regular guest meal, not a vendor meal, it's not cheap... It includes the bar package and we of course included them at a table with our guests, which we were all too happy to do - we did that last time and I think everyone really enjoyed it. At least one of the meals got wasted, and I'm not 100% sure if Jim was able to eat or not. One last suggestion would be to have the meeting between the performers and the couple just a little bit earlier if possible.... Being the Monday before the Saturday wedding had my daughter just a little bit stressed with all of the other last minute things going on.
