Many of us know Pinstripes in Northbrook as a place with great food and fun games of bocce and bowling. But did you know it can also be transformed into an elegant wedding space? Felix and Fingers got to experience the Pinstripes wedding firsthand as we helped celebrate the Eck wedding.
Pinstripes Wedding Venue
Pinstripes in Northbrook is truly a place that can do it all. We’ve been there for many events, but this was the first time we saw it transform into a wedding venue. The Pinstripes wedding setup was gorgeous with a sophisticated, rustic feel to the atmosphere and spacious enough for 150 guests. It even felt like an outdoor wedding during fall as the walls were full length windows and opened to the patio.
The staff was also very attentive to ensure the bride, groom, and guests had a wonderful time. They took individual food orders with ease, allowing guests to experience the wide variety of high quality food Pinstripes offers. Felix and Friends
First was the cocktail hour, before the real celebrating began. While everyone chatted and sipped on beverages, a friend of the bride played classical piano for background music. Then it was our turn, and we had such a great time. This group of guests never left the dance floor, and sang all the words to the songs we played. We even made friends with guests who were also musicians – the aforementioned piano player and a guitar player. Together they played a smooth, unplugged version of Dancing in the Moonlight for the bride and groom’s first dance. The bride’s grandmother also joined in to sing Let me Call You Sweetheart, a tradition for all the family weddings. Overall, it was a great night of fun music and a perfect celebration of the bride and groom’s special day.
