Anchor Public Event
We knew as soon as guests began walking in, that the energy would be high for the show. While listening and participating in the show, guests could also munch on small bites and get refreshments from the bar. One thing we love to do at all of our shows is to invite the audience to participate in as many ways as possible that works well for the event and venue.
We enjoyed how much the audience was willing to participate in the show and made it that much more fun for us! Throughout the show, we received lots of requests and created some great mashups that the crowd really got into. One of our favorites was a mashup between “Some Kind of Wonderful” and “How Sweet It Is” that had everyone clapping and singing along.
Additionally, we had a lot of birthdays in the audience, and so we had fun inviting guests up to participate in the show. We brought up two women and two men to shake their booty for our classic rendition of”Baby Got Back”. Later on, we had a competition between two sides of the room to who could sing “Brown-Eyed Girl” and loved the competitiveness and energy that the guests brought. We loved playing for this crowd and had fun with the friendly banter, fresh jokes, and awesome participation from everyone there. Felix and Fingers hope to be back at this venue that provided excellent staff, service, and atmosphere.
