We requested "no consecutive line dances" in our questionnaire form AND during the call the week before our wedding. We also requested the show end with a specific song. We were reassured on the call that all of this would be a non issue. At the party, all of the line dances were consecutive, and our final song was never played.
The week before our wedding is a busy and stressful time, so for you to take an hour out of my day to make false promises was really disheartening. I could have easily spoken to the pianists at the event to make sure our requests were fulfilled, but I was led to believe this was unnecessary. I ended up too winded to say goodbye to some departing guests, and then had to either jump back into line dancing immediately while exhausted, or miss those songs. Then the entire afterparty I got comments from guests about how I should know better than to let the DJ play line dances consecutively. The pianists performance was truly phenomenal, but we really would have appreciated having the things we were promised. That questionnaire took hours, and half of the responses we gave were ignored or thrown away.
