Who would’ve thought 5 years later Felix and Fingers would return to the Metropolis Ballroom to perform at the Ticketmaster holiday party? The Ticketmaster party planning team loved us so much they said, “Let’s have Felix and Fingers back!”.  The Metropolis Ballroom is located in a revitalized area of historical downtown Arlington Heights, Illinois.  If you are searching for a stress free venue check out the Metropolis Ballroom, a perfect location for hosting and attending your special event.

Ticketmaster Holiday Party Arlington Heights

Ticketmaster Holiday PartyThe Metropolis Ballroom is centered with easy access to and from major expressways and one block from the Metra Northwest Train Station.  Our performers for the Ticketmaster holiday party were Robert Deason and T. Duncan Parker.  These two guys know how to put on an incredible interactive dueling piano show.  Since this was their second time playing Ticketmaster’s holiday party they knew to expect a fun filled evening.  Furthermore, the Metropolis Ballroom is an excellent choice for any public or private event.  To be honest, it is a classy, tasty and well-managed downtown Arlington Heights venue.  If you would like to tour the Metropolis Ballroom please click here.

Felix and Fingers are no strangers to the Metroplis Ballroom and love performing shows at this venue.  The Ticketmaster holiday party was a beautiful setup with dazzling decor.  Additionally, this venue is known to go over the top making sure everyone is well taken care of.  To begin with, guests enjoyed cocktails in an ancillary room which overlooks Arlington Heights main square.  We find it’s always good (if possible) to move your guests between rooms.  Moreover, it will give the night a feel of progressing.  We would like to thank the Metropolis staff in helping us setup our Bose wireless speaker system.  Because of this system, it was awesome to hear our music played throughout the venue.  Robert and T. Duncan played amusing songs such as Merry Christmas Baby by Charles Brown.  This is actually a fun drinking/dancing song with sneaky, naughty lyrics that’s been getting past uptight grandmas for years.

All Request Holiday Show

Ticketmaster Holiday PartyAfter an hour of hot appetizers and champagne toasts, friendly staff moved guests into the ballroom.  Robert and T. Duncan were indeed chomping at the bit to start their dueling piano show.  As guests enjoyed dinner, we played songs such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee and Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms.  Hence, everyone enjoyed a plated and sumptuous feast prepared by the Metropolis Ballroom Executive Chef.  To tell the truth, this was some of the most amazing prime rib we have tasted!

Above all, Felix and Fingers had the Ticketmaster holiday party crowd off the walls with an all request show!  Guests continued to pile request slips on our pianos all night long.  As a matter of fact, 80’s and 90’s songs were by far the most popular.  Not only did Summer of 69′ by Bryan Adams have this crowd singing, but Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio had the dance floor PACKED!  What is more, a few odd ball requests such as Eat It by Weird Al Yankovic had the late night grilled cheese sandwiches on the dance floor with the party goers!

In conclusion, Felix and Fingers would like to recommend DJing towards the end of your public or private events.   For instance, the Ticketmaster holiday party had closed out their show with some “bumpin” music that gave everyone the opportunity of an all out dance extravaganza.  Sometimes, you just want to hear Lil’ John shouting at you…and Felix and Fingers are OK with that!  If you are interested in hiring Felix and Fingers please send an email to info@felixandfingers.com or click here for more information.  We look forward to hearing from you soon!
