This was our first ever show in Colorado!  We were super excited to add a new state to our roster.  This Chateaux winter wedding at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield had us wanting to return as soon as we can.

Chateaux Winter Wedding Splendor

Chateaux Winter Wedding grand staircaseImagine entering your wedding ceremony by coming down a grand staircase in an all white room and having the white winter snow as the backdrop during your ceremony.  Wow!  This venue is just stunning in its simplistic beauty.  The Chateaux at Fox Meadow’s rooms have soaring high ceilings and gorgeous windows.  It made this winter themed wedding one of the best we have seen.  Playing on the winter theme, this bride entered with a white fur stole that made her look like a Nordic princess.  We love winter weddings!

The theme continued with the fine cuisine too as we tasted many tasty dishes such as winter squash and roasted brussel sprouts.  Everything at this Chateaux winter wedding was superb, just superb.  To begin the day, the ceremony took place upstairs.  Then, the guests headed downstairs for a cocktail hour while we flipped the ceremony space to the reception space and to get ready for our dueling piano show.  They even had white shells for our pianos to compliment the white wedding theme.  If you would like to find out more about this lovely venue, please click here.Chateaux Winter Wedding background

We’ll Be Back

Felix and Fingers has been so excited to travel the country and give couples the wedding of their dreams.  We love when we have a great venue to help us do this and this was no exception.  We also love when the crowd helps us out too.  And this group was so fun it made our jobs even easier.  And the music requests were pretty diverse as well.  We had about an equal amount of requests for both rap and country.  So of course, that’s what we gave them.  We went old school on the rap with Rapper’s Delight by the Sugar Hill Gang and new school too with Drake’s In My Feelings.  For the country music lovers we also went old school.  You can’t go wrong with Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire and Patsy Cline’s Walkin’ After MIdnight.

Chateaux Winter Wedding first danceSince this crowd was so fun we thought they might love our cowbell competition, which they did.  The highlight of this was the interpretations of the “Wounded Antelope” dance.  Not sure what this is?  Well, come see one of our shows and find out.  The guests at this wedding had such a great energy that we truly enjoyed being there.  And Colorado, we’ll be back!
