The Oak Ridge wedding in Chaska, Minnesota was an amazing event! Felix and Fingers drove out to the Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center to perform at John and Sarah’s wedding. Oak Ridge Wedding Minnesota
Felix and Fingers arrived at the Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center greeted by friendly staff directing them to the lobby. To begin with, the bride and groom exchanged vows in the lobby which was transformed into a beautiful ceremony space. Our performers for the Oak Ridge wedding were Robert Deason and James Gritschke. Felix and Fingers accompanied the ceremony on the hotel’s grand piano. Not only was the wedding spread out across an open floor plan but on 3 floor as well! The Oak Ridge Hotel offers gorgeous lake views from every floor in addition to outdoor landscaped patios with fire pits. Salad, Pizza and Fireball
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and dancing in the open restaurant area below the lobby. Felix and Fingers played light jazz as a few guests slow danced to The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra. Because this was a laid back and unique wedding there was no assigned seating. We moved right into dinner with DJ’ing songs such as It Had To Be You by Harry Connick Jr. keeping guests on the dance floor while others enjoyed a dinner buffet. In all honesty, the dinner buffet was outstanding. For example, there was a salad bar and tropical fresh fruit station. In addition to fruits and veggies, a great selection of pizza and mini sliders were in demand all night long. The pizza was AMAZING!!
Robert and James had a blast keeping guests on the dance floor. They knew just the songs to play including top hits! A fabulous rendition of I Want to Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston had the dance floor packed. Robert and James had fun pulling guests away from the pizza with hits like Happy by Pharrell Williams and Jungle Boogie by Kool & the Gang. Want to know the best part of the night? For one thing, the father of the bride requested Fireball by Pitbull as a “Brendall wedding tradition”. He passed out Fireball shots ALL NIGHT LONG!! In the end, the other hit of the night (other then the broken glasses on the dance floor) was Love Shack by The B-52’s. As a matter of fact, that brought EVERYONE out to the dance floor.
