Can we just start by saying this backyard pool party wedding celebration was one of our most fun parties ever played?! Our performers, T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason, drove to historical Springfield, Illinois and performed at a super cool Covid party. In fact, Felix think’s there’s something especially sweet about a pool party wedding held in the privacy of one’s yard. Duncan and Robert had their audience singing to top hits while enjoying a night of amazing entertainment. Felix and Fingers wish Kerry and Rex a lifetime of love and happiness!
Backyard Pool Party Wedding Celebration Springfield Illinois
Our performers were hired by the bride’s son Tony as a surprise for his mom’s (Kerry) wedding. Tony loves dueling piano bars. Therefore, he felt our interactive, high-energy show would fit in perfectly at their backyard pool party wedding celebration. Tony was correct! Felix and Fingers Dueling Piano Show (with the help of Tony) surprised everyone who attended. Under those circumstances, great job on keeping the secret Tony!
The laughter alone at this backyard pool party wedding celebration kept the evening in good spirits. We also had a perfect view of this party’s set up from this home’s beautiful porch. Kerry and Rex also set up tents and tables by their in-ground pool. Guests must have been informed to bring/wear pool attire, because at one point, everyone was in the pool. Seeing that, the bride and groom wasted no time jumping in either! The food served at this party was all homemade and unreal. In particular, the bacon wrapped, peppercorn beef tenderloin was indeed THE BEST wedding food we’ve ever tasted. Insanely delicious!
Exciting Encores and Playful Sing Along Songs
After an amazing meal, Duncan and Robert played Kerry and Rex’s first song to start out their set. It wasn’t long before Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran had guests piling requests on our pianos. In all honesty, it was smooth sailing from that point on. We had some dancing, but overall, our audience wanted to sing and sip cocktails while lounging in the pool. Duncan and Robert provided all this crowd’s piano bar staples requested. From Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, to Livin On a Prayer by Bon Jovi, this audience nailed singing them all!
Duncan and Robert had a ball with their encore and stayed on to make sure everyone left happy. Our players fired up their keys rolling out an awesome rendition of Viva la Vida by Coldplay. This is one of our favorite songs to perform live. Hence, our performers sounded amazing. Robert and Duncan were so happy to see everyone had the time of their life at this super fun wedding party!
