WOWEE did Felix and Fingers have a blast at their Meks on Main Fundraiser Event! Located in Monmouth, Illinois, our performers brought interactive excitement and tons of dancing to this fantastic fundraiser.

Firstly, representing Felix and Fingers for this super fun fundraiser were our very own Katrina Nilsen and Jim Gritschke. Our performers kept their audience on their feet all night dancing and singing. Katrina and Jim had such a great time performing for this ICS Fundraiser (Immaculate Conception Catholic School).
Felix is primarily all about bringing in the FUNds when working on a fundraiser. Our interactive dueling piano show and talented players always have a great time helping bring in money. However, it’s what we love to do and Meks on Main helped make it happen. At the beginning of our show, there was an impressive layout of appetizers. One of them was Katrina’s all-time favorite, Buffalo Chicken Dip. The dip was to die for!
Meks on Main is a charming corner shop that can accommodate a wide range of guests. Everywhere you looked there were decorations. They were quite swanky. We loved them. Meks on Main also served one of the most expansive dinner buffets we’ve ever seen. Every kind of meat, cheese, smoked fish, and meatballs one could think of. Furthermore, there was goat cheese, spiral sandwiches, different fondues, and the list goes on. All certainly delicious. What an amazing spread. Big Winners and Raising Hundreds of Dollars
We can’t say enough good things about our Meks on Main Fundraiser Event. Most importantly, Katrina and Jim raised hundreds of dollars for ICS. Immaculate Conception Catholic School even hired a real auctioneer. Amazing auction items went up for bid starting with trips, some dinner experiences, and student art projects. Would you believe there was even a real puppy for auction? The big winners of our Meks on Main Fundraiser Event were the class art projects. Some amazing artwork indeed. At this point, Felix fired up the crowd with Bon Jovi’s Livin on A Prayer which filled the dancefloor quickly.
Katrina and Jim received so many great requests, they didn’t know where to start. So Felix dove into the ’90s with Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors. Our crowd sang this song loud and proud. Everyone sounded amazing. Another great request was Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. Everyone got into this song dancing and singing their hearts out. We even had a chance to perform Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. Now that’s where some hot grooves rolled out onto the dancefloor. Our crowd loved the unique mix-up. We know for a fact our Meks on Main Fundraiser was surely a fun and successful time. As a result, everyone went home happy!
