One of the most important roles you can play is the Master of Ceremony on your family member’s special day. Therefore, Joe’s Place wedding event was a BLAST with Mike Potts (owner and performer of Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos) MC’ing for his brother’s (Matt Potts) wedding. Even though this was not a dueling piano show, everyone had a great time in Marengo, Illinois. Felix and Fingers wish Matt and Christina a lifetime of love and happiness!
Joe’s Place Wedding Event Marengo Illinois
To begin with, Joe’s Place wedding event was a night to remember. The bride and groom had a “Day of the Dead” theme and it was AWESOME. Hence, a totally cool Mexican influence (with Christine being of Mexican descent). From Matt’s fiery red Zoot suit, to Christina’s stunning lace gown, the lovebirds made a adorable couple.
Joe’s Place Restaurant is conveniently located off of Grant Highway. This venue offers a complete dine-in/carry-out menu, catering service, banquet facility, and butcher shop. They also offer outstanding food of all types and a friendly staff to take care of all your needs. Please click here for additional information on Joe’s Place.
Mike steered the boat like a pro around speeches, dinner, cake cutting and traditions as everyone enjoyed his whimsical charisma. Dinner was so much fun. Matt brought in his very own Steel Pan Band to perform while guests enjoyed delicious catered Mexican cuisine. The band sounded GREAT!
A Lively and Cultural Evening
This was a high energy crowd who really knew how to party. As a matter of fact, there was dancing and singing all night long. An open bar helped bring out some great moves! Furthermore, the DJ portion of Joe’s Place wedding event consisted of Socas from Trinidad, Salsas and Bachatas. A lively and cultural evening indeed!
Above all, everyone enjoyed amazing renditions from artists such as Destra Garcia, known as The Queen of Bacchanal. Compositions from José Manuel Calderón spun a next level party with indigenous African and European musical flair. All we can say is WOW….just WOW!!
In conclusion, as the bride and groom made their grand exit, Mike brought everyone together for a group goodbye. This made for wonderful memories and a perfect ending to Joe’s Place wedding event.
