Jamesons Charhouse Wedding Event Huntley

Jamesons Charhouse Wedding EventFelix and Fingers had a blast playing for the Jameson’s Charhouse wedding event. To begin with, the bride and groom exchanged vows in the restaurants private event space. Robert performed a traditional wedding march as Denise entered the room.  In all honesty, this is an extremely versatile and spacious space for any event you can think of.  It was amazing to watch Jameson’s staff flip the room rather quickly for the reception.  During this break, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while Robert performed instrumental jazz music.  We enjoyed seeing guests step out and sway to Giant Steps by John Coltrane and Ask Me Now by Joe Henderson on the dance floor.

Everywhere you looked there were bright and tropical colors enhancing the Jameson’s Charhouse wedding event.  Speaking of tropical, the bride and groom had a prior commitment ceremony which was held in the Bahamas!  It was obvious Denise and David wanted to add some reggae style to their big day with Is This Love by Bob Marley for the first dance.  By the end of this song, a slow island-infused beat had guests jammin’ on the dance floor alongside the married couple.  After a few champagne toasts and speeches, guests enjoyed an amazing steak dinner served with perfectly grilled vegetables.  If you’re interested in holding your next event at Jameson’s Charhouse please click here.

Dancing the Night Away

Jamesons Charhouse Wedding EventFelix and Fingers love when they can get a crowd to interact and have fun with their dueling piano show.  This was indeed a wild and crazy audience.  It didn’t take long for Robert’s piano to fill up with song requests from the 80’s and 90’s.  In other words, all ages were dancing to songs such as Here I Go Again by Whitesnake and Barbie Girl by Aqua.  Moreover, the bride and groom requested a lot of Queen songs.  For example, Under Pressure had everyone singing at the tops of their lungs.  Felix and Fingers especially love to joke around with their audiences.  Due to our sense of humor, Robert’s rendition of Fat Bottomed Girls brought out raucous laughter and a whole lotta bottom spanking!
