Felix and Fingers had the opportunity to perform for a Harper College Fundraiser recently to help raise money for Habitat For Humanity. Harper College Fundraiser
We performed at this fundraiser last year and we were excited to perform at it again! The event planners set up the fundraiser very well. They had a silent auction filled with raffle baskets and different services to bid for. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in wine pull donations. Different colored balloons filled the room where they placed the tables for the different fundraiser opportunities. Additionally, they prepared excellent food and desserts. Many local high school students volunteered as wait staff and brought out the different food they had to offer. Nothing Bundt Cakes catered this delicious food for the event and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Music For a Cause
For this particular Harper College fundraiser, the money went towards Habitat Humanity, specifically designated towards building a new house. The crowd stayed energetic the entire night and we fed of that energy. Guests had all sorts of requests and we gladly played the variety they offered us. As well, the lobby and stage utilized lights and pro sound which added immensely to our performance. We enjoyed playing in a place with great aesthetics. The audience danced and participated throughout the entire event and made for a great stage show. With a great crowd such as this, we could use more comedy that resulted in lots of laughs. The night ended with us playing “Lean On Me” and everyone held hands and sang along. Overall the night went smoothly and it seemed like everyone had a great time. We always enjoy playing for a great cause!
