Felix and Fingers arrived at Carnivale and were greeted by the friendliest staff we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Carnivale was an AMAZING location for this wedding group. Our performers for the Carnivale wedding were Robert Deason and Mike Sherman. We felt the incredible energy from this awesome crowd before we even started our show. In addition to a great Chicago location, Carnivale offers extraordinary and unique venue rooms. The Carnivale wedding was a ton of fun to perform at as Cara and Alex were a fabulous couple. Robert and Mike felt at ease in this fun and laid back wedding atmosphere. In all honesty, this was one of the most enjoyable weddings they’ve ever played! Carnivale offers a delicious Caribbean menu in addition to a bartender that will make you a rockin’ Bahama Mama. Guests enjoyed a delicious family-style dinner while Robert and Mike played island style instrumental music in the background. Robert and Mike enjoyed an outstanding meal such as chicken mole and steak with chimichurri sauce. In fact, they can’t wait to come back some day to enjoy the restaurant without playing a show!
One Crazy Night!
There were some special moments at the Carnivale wedding that made beautiful memories with everyone attending. For example, the bride’s father was in a wheelchair but was able to stand up and accompany Cara for the father/daughter dance. This was actually an incredibly powerful moment for everyone to witness. Robert and Mike kept the dance floor packed with songs like Hot Hot Hot by Arrow and Let’s Dance by David Bowie. As a matter of fact, the entire room became a dance floor which was something we have never witnessed at a wedding!
Since the bride loved the White Sox and the groom was all about the Cubs, Felix and Fingers enjoyed a night of rivalry. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of rivalry? Luckily Robert and Mike only played Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey as (thankfully) nobody requested Go Cubs Go!

In conclusion the Carnivale wedding was a complete blast! The bride and groom are heading to Brazil and all our tips went towards their honeymoon fund.
