St. Thomas High School Fun-draisor
St. Thomas Morely High School in Champaign Illinois hosted it’s annual fundraiser this year in their gym, although upon arrival, both Emily and I could not believe that we were in a gym. The decorations, the food, and the lighting transformed completely the thoughts of field houses and basketball games to thoughts of class and upscale lifestyles.
Shells
Felix and Fingers clients can opt for many different options when hiring company members. Everything from lights, sound equipment, extra musicians, and our huge blue certified piano shells!
My Boy Blue!
Near the beginning of Felix and Fingers, slightly broken pianos were purchased by the company, and painted a vibrant blue, gutted, and now serve as super awesome piano shells! These big blue beauties are available for your event at any time! Just shoot a call our way, and upgrade your event today.
Fundraiser
All fundraisers are planned differently, and our company knows that your event has a history, it’s own traditions, and it’s own feel and style. The folks at St. Thomas have been running this fundraiser for a number of years, and it shows. There was a cocktails/silent auction portion of the evening right at the outset, and then everyone moved into the gym for dinner, speeches, and a live auction.
Nom Nom Nom
As I mentioned before, anything that Felix and Fingers can do to make your event special, we will do! The live auction auctioneer involved us in the auction itself. We played music for each item, narrated the descriptions, and ran around the room helping to increase bids! We had a blast. (Playing Go Cubs Go really inspires anti-Cubs bidders BTW)
Dueling
After all of the planned “Fundraising” was done, more “Fun-draising” occurred! Dueling Pianos and fundraisers go hand in hand. We had donors singing Meatloaf for 300 tips, all going back to St. Thomas! You can decide where you would like our tips to go for your event!
