We love to see coworkers rocking out and enjoying each other’s company when not working. This B.A.S.H. Employee Holiday Dinner was just that. This group, from Ottawa, Illinois, had a great time and Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos did too!
B.A.S.H. Employee Holiday Dinner
This event blew our expectations out of the water. We thought we were going to some small town little sushi restaurant, probably a bit outdated, or just like so many of those small type places we see on our travels. But not this small town sushi joint! No way, this is large, incredibly hip and modern, and has a totally cool vibe. The owners, Cody and Chanel, have done an awesome job with not only the restaurant, but also with creating a great family vibe among their employees. B.A.S.H. is an acronym for Burger and Sushi House. Yes, you can order both burgers and sushi, among other items at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to sample their cuisine. Bad for us, but good for the employees. Cody and Chanel are such nice employers they wanted their whole staff to be able to enjoy the party so instead of serving their own food, they brought in Chipotle. Now we love Chipotle too, but we are definitely returning to try the B.A.S.H. menu. The staff couldn’t stop raving about their cuisine. Since they were obviously so proud of it, we know it must be good.
Nostalgic Tunes and Gorgeous Renditions
For our performers, Jim and Greg, this show was full of songs that really brought out so many nostalgic memories. They had requests for Smash Mouth, Britney Spears, Bubba Sparxx, Katy Perry, Elton John, Green Day, and so many more artists they love to play. We really hope to return to play for this group again. The girls in this group were the big dancers of the party and kept our dance floor hopping the entire time. We also had one young lady join us on stage. She gave us beautiful renditions of Shallow, Santa Baby and absolutely nailed Lizzo’s Truth Hurts. The crowd went nuts for that one. All in all, it was a great employee holiday party and we were honored to be a part of it.
