Felix and Fingers performers Leana and Shawn headed to Newport Beach, California for a return engagement at the Lido House, an Autograph Collection. This Lido House Wedding was a ton of fun. A huge congratulations goes out to our bride and groom, Laura and Andrew.
Lido House Wedding
The Lido House, Autograph Collection from Marriott is the perfect California seaside hotel. Its beach house vibe is just charming. The location is ideal for access to Newport’s marina and white sand beaches. Glorious weather accompanied our cocktail hour outside. We then headed indoors to dinner and dancing. We must say the staff did a fabulous job. They were friendly, professional, and highly attuned to all the guests’ needs, as well as our own.

A Family Affair
Laura’s family was super involved in our show. We love when our audience wants to participate. It’s always a big hit with the crowd. For starters, her brother joined us to rap a few verses of Just a Friend by Biz Markie. Then her mother came up and helped us sing Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing. Both of them did an awesome job. Everyone loved it. We also had quite a competitive crowd for this Lido House Wedding. It was girls against guys and the girls began with a dance off showing their moves to Sir Mix-a-Lot’s Baby Got Back. Then the guys tried to one up them with their own moves to LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It. Hilarity ensued.
A conga line followed with Gloria Estefan’s Conga among a few others. Finally, we ended the evening with our signature Piano Man ending. Laura and Andrew basked in the love of their family and friends as everyone serenaded them with Billy Joel’s famous song. What a beautiful ending to a beautiful night.
