Teddy Bear Number Five is what we’re calling this event. Felix and Fingers has played for five straight years at the Teddy Bear Fundraiser and we were excited to be back. Even more exciting was that we were able to experience a new venue, The Barn at Fairview Acres.
The Barn at Fairview Acres
We loved this new venue. It is locally owned by Christie and Dan who have raised their family on this farm. And now, they’ve renovated the barn into an exceptional event venue. It’s perfect for fundraisers such as this Teddy Bear Number Five but we’re sure it would be perfect for weddings too. We loved performing here and are excited for the owners as they continue to book events for their new endeavor.
One of our favorite parts about the venue was our green room. Well, it isn’t actually a green room but that is what we used it as. It is a space in a converted silo complete with pool tables and games. It also sleeps nine.

Teddy Bear Number Five
We have to say a special thank you to the Teddy Bear Fundraiser organizers, Gary and Denise, for having us back for another year. This was a sold out show to raise money for the Teddy Bear Child Development Center and Preschool. We love this fundraiser and we’re pretty sure they love us too. If not, we don’t think they’d have us return again and again. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos are expert fundraiser performers. We really know how to loosen those pockets and help you raise the most money possible for your organization. We do a ton of fundraisers throughout the year and we love helping you raise money.
And this year at Teddy Bear Number Five, we were just as successful. Not only did the audience love our music, they thought we were pretty good auctioneers too. Yes, we will also auction off your live items and, believe us, we are pretty good at it. With a perfect venue to house this fun group, the night went off without a hitch. Guests had all sorts of great requests. We played some great oldies such as Jerry Lee Lewis’ Great Balls of Fire, and Ain’t to Proud to Beg from the Temptations. And since it’s the Teddy Bear Fundraiser, we were sure to play Teddy Bear from the one and only, Elvis Presley.
All This and an After Party Too
The fundraiser was a total success and it ended with an amazing fireworks show. Following that, it was Gary and Denise’s 40th anniversary so they had a smaller after party. And Felix and Fingers was also the entertainment for that portion of the night. It was great celebrating with this couple as they are one of our most favorite repeat customers. We made sure to play some songs from the year they were married including I Was Made for Lovin’ You by Kiss and Amii Stewart’s Knock on Wood. What a fun time everyone had at this after party!
