Facebook Messenger Data Deletion

These instructions apply to information collected by the Felix and Fingers Messenger assistant for the Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos Facebook Page, operated by MJ Productions, Inc. You do not need to install an app or sign in to this website to make a request.

How to request deletion

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject Facebook Messenger data deletion.
  2. Include the name you used in Messenger and the approximate date of the conversation. If you gave us an email address or phone number in the chat, include that same contact detail to help us locate your inquiry.
  3. Tell us whether you want us to delete the assistant’s conversation data, a related quote inquiry, or both. You can also ask us to correct information.

Send only the information needed to identify your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card information or a copy of your identification. We may ask you to confirm the request from the same Messenger account or contact address before changing or deleting personal information.

What happens next

Our team will review your request, verify that it relates to your information, and locate relevant records in the assistant and, where applicable, our quote, customer-management and email systems. We will delete or anonymize information we control when appropriate and explain any records we need to retain for legal, contractual, security or recordkeeping reasons. We will respond through the contact channel used for your request.

Deletion is handled by our team; submitting a request does not instantly erase every copy. Service-provider logs and backups may remain for their normal retention periods or where retention is required. We will review provider-held records as applicable to your request.

Messenger and other records

The assistant’s working conversation content is normally cleared after about seven days of inactivity. This does not automatically delete a confirmed inquiry already sent to our customer-management or email systems. Limited technical records may be retained to protect the service and prevent duplicate inquiries.

These instructions cover records held by Felix and Fingers and its service providers. They do not delete your Facebook account or automatically remove messages held by Meta, copies in your own Messenger account or another person’s copy of a conversation. Use Facebook or Messenger’s controls for those records. Deleting a conversation in Messenger does not automatically delete an inquiry we already received.
