While the client (and the birthday kid) had a good time and we maintained a good attitude and relationship at the event and with our hosts, this was one of the most humiliating experiences I've had in recent memory.

Having 10 children and their parents demand I sing songs like "Low", writing them multiple times and shouting it in my face was degrading and invasive. I could hear the adults cracking jokes about "I'll bet they're never gonna wanna play a kid's party again". I very nearly had a panic attack as we were packing up trying not to consider how mortifying it was.

It's only not a (1 - Really Poorly) because, again, the client enjoyed and we smiled through it, kept it light, and gave them what they asked for (within reason).

Getting a clown next time.
