Manage Handwrytten Notes

I was amazed at how large the living community actually is. The property is superbly maintained and really really pretty. Lots of great places for taking walks and seeing the sights!

We played two sets, one on a stage and one in the banquet area. Playing on a stage is always a lot of fun, especially with the crowd that we had, and we had them all singing along to all kinds of tunes from The Sound of Music to Billy Joel. We even got Cindy (sp?) to get up and show her boots made for walkin’ (shout out to Maddy for the call down).

During our second set, we started off with a few different sing alongs, and an older gentleman and I bonded over some Sinatra in a very sweet moment. We had them dancing to some slow songs and a gentleman came up to me and told me after I played Earth Angel how he remembers when he danced to that same tune in High School in 1963, and that absolutely tickled me pink. Later on, we got people to bust out moves on the dance floor with some oldie goodies!
