Manage Handwrytten Notes

To be perfectly honest, I don’t know how into the show everyone at the venue got. There were a lot of other things planned as part of this event that didn’t involve us playing or dueling at all. We only ended up playing for about an hour and spent most of the rest of the time DJing or otherwise sidelined. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not offended or otherwise put out in any way because of that. There were just a lot of things demanded of us from the client that sometimes felt a little last minute or disorganized. Just my honest thoughts.

The golf club was a really scenic and picturesque venue, both inside and out. We were right there in the middle of the space on a raised stage which they seemed to have built just for us to play on which was really nice.

We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier bunch of folks than everyone at the golf club. I don’t think there was a single person I didn’t get a smile and a “Hi, how are you?” from. They also had dynamite chicken with asparagus which hit the spot before going on to play.

It was quite the whirlwind of pageantry for this gig. We aided with a silent auction, a disco dance off, and then followed it all up with our own show, so there was never a dull moment to be had.

Again, to be perfectly honest, it felt like there were so many moving parts and not enough organization to make it all work seamlessly.
