This was a pretty stressful show for me. This was my first time having to do load in by myself and I didn’t have time to setup a wireless mic which would have definetly added to the show. I was able to get everything setup and sound checked just in time to clear the room for their dinner seating. I’m pretty sure the client was largely unaware that anything was wrong, but it was hard to relax and have fun engaging after a rough start. The clients seemed very happy though and we had several people comment that we were amazing and that they really enjoyed the evening. We had a couple of attendees scan our business cards for F&F and take requests slips home so they could remember us for future events. Also the hotel staff loved the show and wanted our contact information for possible entertainment for future events.

Blog Note 1

Sean Matassa from Edward Jones had an amazing voice and closed out the evening with a sing along to Journey’s Faithfully. The crowd loved him and cheered him on.

Blog Note 2

These guys love Baton Rouge! A lot of the employees were from Baton Rouge, and lit up when we played Calling Baton Rouge.

Blog Note 3

The evening before the clients had done a family feud style game night. Their host from the night before started us off by getting one person from each table up and dancing.
