Manage Handwrytten Notes

Dallas Petroleum club was such a gorgeous venue. Nestled in the heart of downtown Dallas and the scenic views from the 13th and 14th of the building were certainly a sight to behold. The reception area was a wonderfully intimate space where the guests could mingle and enjoy the recorded and live music as well as drinks and hors d'oeuvres throughout the night. The couple and families could not have hoped for a better spot to celebrate the union.

The couple and planner had asked us once we got into the show that we start it off slowly and play some piano lounge style songs for a bit before we get into the piano bar requests and show. This allowed me and Bethany to get to play some awesome music that we do not normally get to play such as Steely Dan and Christopher Cross for me and Corinne Bailey Rae for her!

Even in the beginning when we started the show slower and did not announce we were taking requests, the guests still were coming up and approaching us asking for songs and writing things down. It was such a wonderful organic experience and I think we knocked it out of the park with the guests and the Bride and Groom. We certainly hope the two of them have many more blessings to come on their union and hope to see them grow closer and even more in love as a couple!
