There’s something timeless about a sunset in Maui—but pair it with a 1920s flapper-themed graduation party and live jazz, and it’s next level. I had the honor of providing the soundtrack, starting with classics like Sinatra as the sky turned gold. You could feel the joy in the air—classy, celebratory, and totally unique.

Who says graduation parties have to be generic? This one embraced the full flapper-era vibe—feathers, fringe, and champagne energy all around. I played vintage jazz hits as guests arrived in full costume, and the commitment to the theme made it feel like we time-traveled. Easily one of the most creative events I’ve been part of.

By the end of the night, this elegant graduation bash had evolved into an all-out jam session. After an hour of jazz and cocktails, the energy shifted—suddenly the grads were dancing, shouting requests, and singing along to everything from “Fly Me to the Moon” to “Gin and Juice.” I live for that kind of shift.
