Rustic Manor 1848 is one of Wisconsin’s premiere barn wedding venues. Located in Hartland, Wisconsin, the Rustic Manor wedding event was held on 12 acres of wooded trails and rolling green meadows. Furthermore, this venue offers spectacular photography and multiple ceremony site opportunities. The barn itself hosts up to 300 guests between the lower level and hayloft. The Rustic Manor wedding event hired a full band for their special day. In fact, they had a guitarist and a drummer, along with our amazing dueling pianists Greg Percifield and Mike Potts. Talk about a live concert! We performed in a great outdoor ceremony space. As guests were seated in rows of white, wooden folding chairs they enjoyed gorgeous farmland views. Luckily we travel with 200+ feet of extension cord as this ceremony was way out in the field! The ceremony was such an authentic expression of love. We love playing non-traditional entrance songs, so when the bride asked us to play Somebody by Depeche Mode we FLIPPED! For this reason, we knew this event would be a BLAST!
Photo Booths, Food Trucks and Cheese Tables
Are you still debating over whether a barn wedding venue is the right choice for your special day? If so, let us give you a rundown of the rest of our evening, including the vintage Aerostar photo booth camper shenanigans. Cocktail hour turned into a HUGE party spilling out onto the grounds of the barn. Shots of Fireball were passed around to anyone interested. Some guests grabbed three. Greg and Mike took this opportunity to play Fireball by Pitbull and the crowd went wild! We eventually settled into dinner and it was amazing. What a better way to enjoy mouthwatering BBQ than in rustic barn surroundings? We were floored with the crepe truck. Homemade crepes filled with fresh strawberries and cream were the bomb!
When you hire a full band with Felix and Fingers you will feel like you are in your own concert. A wonderful, rich tone filled the room as guests kicked their boots up to songs such as Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band. This FUN crowd had requests such as Stuck Like Glue by Sugarland and Jackson by Johnny Cash keeping them on the floor all night long!
By the way, remember the Aerostar photo booth? The corner the booth sat in looked like a strobe light gone wild. Guests lined up to have goofy memories captured in the Aerostar. A wild and crazy groomsman wore a Grateful Dead t-shirt under his tuxedo. He exposed it with each photo booth flash. A late night cheese and wine table was enjoyed as we closed out the night with Piano Man by Billy Joel. Everyone circled the bride and groom, held hands and swayed while singing to the newlyweds. We LOVE Wisconsin!
