The Rothschild Pavilion in Rothschild WI is one of those exceptionally versatile wedding venues that can accommodate absolutely anything and they proved it! Ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing were all covered flawlessly in what was a fantastic evening of celebration!

Ceremony/Dinner/Pianos all in one room!
We’ve played a lot of venues all over the country. We’ve seen a ton of different set ups, and one fairly popular set up involves the ceremony and reception taking place in the same area. Have the ceremony first, then move people elsewhere for cocktails while the staff flips the room for dinner. That was sort of the case here, but with one important twist – Rothschild Pavilion is large enough to accommodate the ceremony and dinner being set up simultaneously!
This is actually a huge plus for the venue. Now instead of the staff rushing around to flip a room in an hour, all they needed to do was relocate the chairs to the already preset tables. Things move much faster this way with less room for error.
The ceremony was exceptionally fun as the couple provided us with a family friend to play violin for the processionals. Being professional musicians, we always encourage other musicians to perform with us. It’s a great way to make the moment extra special…especially when the guest musician sounds great!

Pour It Forward 50/50
The bride works with the company Pour It Forward 50/50, who was providing the alcohol for the event. And not only was the beer amazing (and the bride gave us a growler to take home – score!), but the company donates 50% of the event fee to a charity of the clients’ choice. How cool is that? If you’re in northern WI, seriously, check these guys out!
Dancing in Rothschild WI
Dave and I wanted to go into this wedding making sure it’d be amazing seeing as Dave was to leave on tour afterwards. We needed this to be a reception to remember, and it absolutely was! Our job is always the best when we’re able to see people dancing from start to finish and really taking advantage of the night. People were making requests, we had guest singers joining us, Cowbell Competitions, and a whole lot of dancing and laughing – it was obvious that this wedding was the joining of two great families.

Oddly enough, we needed to drive hours into Northern Wi to meet the videography company, “Old, New, Borrowed, Blue“, who happen to be located within 10 miles of my house. I can’t wait to see the videos, but we could tell just from working along side them, they are great at what they do!
