Felix and Fingers love the idea of a private estate wedding. This gorgeous home was located in the middle of the woods in Amery, Wisconsin. Not only was this a gorgeous mansion, but it provided a stunning dream wedding backdrop. Congratulations Danni and Elliot!
Private Estate Wedding Amery Wisconsin
Situated in a secluded spot in Amery, WI, a very special ceremony and reception was held in this private residence’s gorgeous backyard. Danni and Elliot decided to do their best making everything about their special day feel fresh, fun, and personal. And what could be more personal than hosting a 75 person affair in their own backyard? There was a stunning pergola setup within a pathway for the wedding ceremony.
Our performer for the private estate wedding was Robert Deason. In fact, this was not Robert’s first private wedding. He did an amazing job covering Danni’s ceremony song requests with confidence and success. Robert also played an upbeat and joyful Love On Top recessional song by Beyonce, and helped lead guests into the celebration that followed.
Did we mention this was a gorgeous home? Cocktail hour was under the moon and stars on a perfectly paved and landscaped backyard. Robert handed out song request slips prior to the show and clearly this was a group wanting to dance. Not only did the first song request have everyone barefoot, but Thriller by Michael Jackson had some great zombies moves appear from nowhere! This private estate wedding had the PERFECT location for BIG wooden buffet table, full of delicious gourmet eats AND a grilling station!
Surprise Snacks and Giant Bonfires
An interesting fact for this private estate wedding was that the father of the bride is a woodworker. He hand built an amazing bar for this private estate wedding. He also turned it into a large pile of wood for a GIANT bonfire. We have never seen anything so cool such as this insanely HUGE bonfire! And here comes the rain. But that didn’t stop our audience from dancing and singing to hits such as Love Shack by the B-52’s and Sugar by Maroon 5. As a matter of fact, things got pretty wild during a steady downpour. We were safe under a tent, and since it didn’t seem guests had a care in the world dancing in the rain, so we continued our show!
It got loud and it got crazy and nobody cared. It was the perfect party. What is more, the bride and groom splurged on a strategically placed photo-booth, next to the bar. The hysterical strips of their friends and family having fun in the booth was an awesome keepsake.
As Robert continued to play upbeat dance music such as Firework by Katy Perry, he noticed a surprise grilled cheese food truck arrive bearing late night snacks. Perfect timing and crowd approved! It was getting late but Robert continued to pack the floor with I Got A Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. Above all, a big old s’more roast was held at the very end of the night. After some of Danni and Elliot’s friends & family had moseyed on home, the remaining guests had fun bringing the night to a close by gathering around a fire-pit and cooking up a melted treat for the road.
