Felix and Fingers drove out to Cross Plains, Wisconsin to perform for a SUCCESSFUL Mount Horeb Education Association Fundraiser Event. We raised TONS of money towards a self made scholarship program for students who desire to become teachers. Our performers for this FUN fundraiser were T. Duncan Parker and Anthony Cao. Felix and Fingers brought a high energy gig to a fun loving crowd. Everyone had a BLAST!
Mount Horeb Education Association Fundraiser Event
To begin with, this fundraiser event was held at the The Red Mouse Bar & Grill. Not only is this venue a short drive from West Towne Madison, it’s THE BEST local sports bar in town! Our client set us up to be in the round, therefore everyone was able to interact with our show. There really wasn’t a schedule. This event was just ONE BIG PARTY. We helped raise money for the Mount Horeb Education Association fundraiser event with our funny jokes and top hits. Songs such as Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond had everyone dancing and singing. Our tip jar filled up fast with requests such as Bennie and the Jets by Elton John. To be honest, we had the floor packed with this favorite tune!
Interactive Games and Awesome Audience Participation
Felix and Fingers had so much fun playing FUN dueling song requests. Just the Way You Are by Billy Joel and Let’s Get it On by Marvin Gaye were a HIT with the crowd. These songs had everyone enjoying our show! We even had our audience play an interactive game called Heads or Tails. Our performers designated one side of the room as heads and the other as tails. Felix and Fingers flipped a coin and then called out to that side to sing a song. It was EPIC!
Above all, the Mount Horeb Teachers Association fundraiser event organizers were VERY accommodating. This crowd LOVED to PARTY. Some folk were tame at first, but as the night went on we made sure EVERYONE had a BLAST. In conclusion, Felix and Fingers LOVED all the compliments they received by their appreciative audience. As guests were leaving, they stopped by our pianos to let us know how much FUN they had. That made us feel GREAT!
