Greg Percifield and Robert Deason rolled their pianos right into St. John’s on the Lake Retirement Community Show without a hitch. This retirement community is the bomb. High-rise buildings, great views and friendly members. We brought the house down with our show. Our audience LOVED us. That certainly made us happy!

Felix must note this retirement home has an incredible stage area. Coupled with a green room! Everyone, and we mean everyone working St. John’s on the Lake Retirement Community Show were totally accommodating. We loved our audience. The held so much spunk and energy all night long. Dinner and dessert were delicious, although we could see our audience chomping at the bit to hear our show! Felix had such a wonderful opportunity to play songs from the past with this super-fun retirement crowd. We actually had a few jazz standards that were fun to try out. Our crowd couldn’t get enough!
Songs from the Past and One Happy Crowd
Did we mention tons of old requests? Robert and Greg had the time of their life just playing songs they don’t always get to perform such as swing, big band, and rat pack music. Who can resist Louis Prima & His Orchestra burning up the keys with Jump, Jive & Wail. Robert and Greg also played some Rat Pack, Day by Day to which our crowd simply adored.
Felix had an opportunity to perform Beauty and The Beast on St. John’s new piano. Our crowd loved it. In fact, it was the first time for one of our performers to sing this song, and he NAILED IT. Our St. John’s on the Lake Community Retirement Show went over so well. We actually had our crowd wave their hands in the air with big smiles. We loved it. Tons of sing along and interaction with this crowd.
To sum up, we ended our evening with Piano Man by Billy Joel (our signature song). During this song, everyone swayed and sang. Greg and Robert couldn’t be happier to perform such a successful show. Felix looks forward to returning and performing at St. John’s On The Lake!
