The Black Swan MKE is located right on the shore of the Milwaukee River. This makes for some gorgeous water views. Felix and Fingers had a great time playing for this Black Swan wedding and hope to soon return.
Black Swan Wedding
This venue in the historic third ward of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a wonderful blend of old meets new. It used to be a storage room for the hotel above but was renovated into a gorgeous banquet space. So glad for that! We began with German themed appetizers which included pretzels as big as your head! They were delicious. Following the appetizers, the bride and groom, Jake and Kaitlyn, chose BBQ for dinner. We really enjoyed that the couple chose a not so common wedding dinner because it was awesome! Our performers, Mike and Mike, reported that the staff was great to work with as well. Such a great venue on the water.

A Bit of Germany
During the cocktail and hors d’oeuvre portion of this Black Swan wedding there was a German Polka Band. Everyone enjoyed that as they enjoyed the delicious selection of German themed appetizers. Nice touch, Kaitlyn and Jake! After the great BBQ dinner, Mike and Mike followed with a rocking dueling piano performance. One of our Mikes was super excited because The Real Slim Shady was on the couple’s must play list and he loves that song. In addition, our performers really
felt like it was their kind of party as there were many requests for piano bar tunes as well as songs from the 90’s. Those songs are always a hit and lead to a packed dance floor. What a fun time! Finally, the evening ended with one of the most unique wedding cakes we have seen. Check out the picture of this paint splattered looking cake. Amazing!
