This was the first time Felix and Fingers has ever performed at a 100th birthday party. Yes, we said 100. This Merrill Hills Legend Birthday Party wasn’t for someone who was turning 100, however. It was for a couple who were each turning fifty. It was a wonderful birthday party for both Bill and Krislyn.
Merrill Hills Legend Birthday Party Venue
The Legend at Merrill Hills was the stunning venue for this fun event. You will find this exceptional country club in Waukesha, Wisconsin. With a gorgeous clubhouse and a course to challenge even the best golfers, this is definitely a place you want to check out. For our show, we noticed excellent service from a very friendly, yet professional, staff. The party started with delicious hors d’oeuvres and mingling, followed by a delightful dinner. If We Don’t Know It, We Will Learn It
Our Merrill Hills Legend Birthday Party started off with a bang. Felix and Fingers performer, Mike, played Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock n’ Roll and everyone immediately flooded the dance floor. It was amazing. We had about twenty ladies request About Damn Time from Lizzo thinking there was no way we would know that one. Well, imagine their surprise when our star performer, Will, went into it with no problem. We did have quite a few ABBA fans in the 
house. They had a request for Waterloo which, we have to admit, neither Mike nor Will knew. Mike, however, on his break, listened and learned the song and played it right after. Everyone was super impressed and sang along with gusto.
We didn’t expect to have a ton of Justin Bieber fans at a party for those turning fifty, but they were there with request after request. So our very talented performers did an awesome mashup to his songs that had everyone in awe. This group was full of energy and could have gone all night long. In fact, maybe they did. We don’t know what happened after we left. We do know that we left a very pleased and happy crowd that was full of compliments about our super interactive dueling piano show.
