Nakoma Golf Club Wedding Venue
We can’t say enough about the friendly and helpful crew at the Nakoma Golf Club. Not only were they excellent at serving the guests, but they took care of us just as well. We were truly impressed. Don’t forget. Felix and Fingers performs for a huge amount of weddings and we’ve seen the best service and unfortunately the worst. So if we say the service was impeccable, you know it’s true. The staff served dinner family style and the salmon and steak were both prepared perfectly. A magnificent dessert spread could be found in the adjacent library and had something for everyone. Make Way for the Band
We had a lot of pre-requests from our bride and groom and made sure to play them all. It seemed music from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s ruled the night. And this party was a rager! Everyone danced and sang so loud we thought they’d bring down the roof! Songs like December 1963 from the Four Seasons, the Bangles’ Walk Like an Egyptian, and Pump Up the Jam by Technotronic had everyone on the dance floor going crazy. What a fun group!
The bridesmaids had these cute denim jackets with their name’s engraved on them and our performer, Robert, was a bit jealous. Don’t worry, he got over it. What really made him forget that was when a contingent of the University of Wisconsin band marched in and played all of the school’s most popular songs. It was a huge hit that everyone truly enjoyed. We enjoyed it too but we have to say we also enjoyed the chance to sneak over to the dessert bar and grab another French Macaroon. Yum. The band had come about half way through our show. We finished the night off with some more great tunes like Get Down On It from Kool and the Gang and We Like to Party from the Venga Boys. All in all, a very fun night.
