Office parties can be pretty brutal, and we’re not just talking about the lighting.  But this isn’t about any regular party. In fact, the Google Madison Site Holiday Party had THE MOST rad and top-rated dueling piano show at their event.  Yep, you guessed it…Felix and Fingers!  Our client had us performing at the Blackhawk Country Club located in Madison, Wisconsin.  This was definitely one of the most relaxed shows we have ever played.

Google Madison Site Holiday Party Wisconsin

Google Madison Site Holiday PartyThe 2018 holiday season came and went quickly.  For a start, the Google Madison Site Holiday Party was held during a snowy and cold mid-January.  This was perfect timing for Felix and Fingers to bring their fun, interactive show on board.  We loved being a part of Google’s holiday gathering at the Blackhawk Country Club.  If you are interested in touring the Blackhawk Country Club please click here.

Our performers for the Google Madison Site Holiday Party were Greg Percifield and Jennifer Lee Knuth.  As a matter of fact, this is definitely one of our favorite dueling piano couples.  To begin with, guests mingled in the Blackhawk Room while Greg and Jennifer played light cocktail music in the background. There was no shortage of wine to compliment the goat cheese crostini, topped with a fig and olive tapenade.

There was something unexpectedly festive about the Google Madison Site Holiday Party.  This event had some of the coolest raffle prizes we have ever seen!  Our favorites were the dinosaur nacho holder, as well as the Star Wars knitting set.  Felix and Fingers felt like only Google would be so creative with their prizes!  At one point during the raffle, a guest grabbed our mic and sang his heart out to Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen.  He was great!

Keeping it Fun with Felix and Fingers

Google Madison Site Holiday PartyEventually, the Google Madison Site Holiday Party took a break for dinner.  Not only did Blackhawk serve a mouthwatering prime rib, but there was a massive chocolate fountain!  The best part of this nostalgia was seeing everyone walk around with chocolate splattered on their clothes.  It was silly!

There were a only a few guests that brought up a handful of song requests.  The rest of the crowd just wanted to relax and enjoy their drinks. Greg and Jennifer were confident everyone enjoyed our show and had a GREAT time with the relaxed atmosphere.

We had 3 regular dancers that our performers kept on the floor questioning what they really liked.  Felix and Fingers kept it fun playing Got to Give it Up by Marvin Gaye, Treasure by Bruno Mars and Rock the Casbah by The Clash.  It didn’t take us long to realized these 3 guests were going to dance the same no matter what we played.  We gave them an A+ for effort!

Above all, one guest stood up and went wild (to our surprise) towards the end of our show.  He insisted to singing along to Super Freak by Rick James and got REALLY into it.  In fact, this guest ran around the room with the wireless mic like a crazed rock star.  Everyone laughed and assured us he would most likely regret the craziness when he saw the videos Monday morning at work!

Contact Us

In conclusion, we would like to thank the staff at the Google Madison Site Holiday Party for being so kind to us.  Furthermore, our client expressed how much FUN everyone had despite mostly everyone stayed seated (other than visiting the bar or chocolate fountain).  On the other hand, we found it amusing to hear this event was CRAZY compared to last year.  We can only say if the client is happy, then we are happy!  If you would like us to perform at your next party send an email to info@felixandfingers.com or click here for more information.  We look forward to hearing from you soon!
