Wow! What a great venue! The Geneva National Resort wedding we played for was one of our all time favorites! Felix and Fingers performers go to a lot of weddings so we know what we’re talking about.
Geneva National Resort Wedding
You can find the Geneva National Resort in the Williams Bay area of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We performed here for Shannon and Michael’s wedding and can’t say enough about how much we loved this place. To begin, we must thank the event staff. They were incredible! They truly took care of us, the wedding party, and every other detail imaginable. Michelle and her team are some of the best event staff we’ve ever worked with. That is a lot to say as we do weddings just about every weekend. Many times more than one. So we do consider ourselves the experts and we have no problem giving the Geneva National Resort our highest recommendation. It’s a beautiful venue that overlooks the water. We always feel that a water view adds that little something special to a wedding. For this Geneva National Resort wedding, we played in three event locations. We began in the ceremony hall. For this part of the festivities, our performer Mike played the piano along with a violinist. The procession then took place with the accompaniment of bagpipes. That was quite special. Following the ceremony, our other performer of the evening played during cocktails in the cocktail/after party lounge. Since it was during the holidays, he was able to play some holiday tunes that put everyone into a joyous mood. Next, both of our performers, along with a drummer, gave a fantastic dueling piano performance in the grand ballroom.
Fun Night For All
As soon as we heard two of the bridesmaids and the best man give their speeches, we knew we were going to have an awesome group. All three had the guests in stitches with their hilarious retelling of anecdotes from their history with this fun couple. Definitely among the top 5 wedding speeches we have heard! And of course, the crowd did not disappoint as they continued to party well into the night.
We had a drummer along with our piano duelers for this wedding. We highly recommend adding a drummer to your entertainment package. It really kicks things up a notch! We work with a great group of drummers and you won’t be sorry if you choose to include one. Just imagine, our version of Bohemian Rhapsody, backed up by the drums, and Duncan leading a competition from one side of the guests against the other. It was definitely a highlight of the evening!
To top off the evening, Shannon and Michael had chosen an old friend of the brides from her bar-tending days to play and sing the guitar. He played from midnight until 2am. It was a great transition from the wild and crazy dancing to a chill after party with some great sing-a-longs.
This Geneva National Resort wedding was truly top notch! And we would love to help make your big day the best it can be too. Click here to find out more about us here at Felix and Fingers. Looking forward to hearing from you!
