IKON Transportation Services chose a great venue for their recent holiday celebration. This Janesville Country Club Holiday Event was a lovely smaller party which was a nice change from the very large parties we’ve had lately.
Janesville Country Club Holiday Event
Don’t get us wrong. We love all sizes of parties. So far this season, we’ve performed for large groups of over 500 to small groups of 30 to 50. This Janesville Country Club Holiday Event was one of the smaller ones and what makes it special for us is how much more we can interact with each guest when we play for this size group. We were in Janesville Country Club’s second floor ballroom. This is the perfect room for this small event but could have easily handled 150 or more guests. The staff was super friendly, yet professional. Everyone commented about how well they were being taken care of. In addition, the food was pretty awesome too. Our favorite? Lobster corn dogs–mind blowing for sure! Take a look at this great venue by clicking here. You will be sure to find the perfect venue for you.
Party Crashers and Shoes
The last thing you would want when you’re the party planner is having guests leave your party because they want to see the great entertainment that’s going on next door. Well, that wasn’t our problem but it was for another event that was taking place at the Janesville Country Club that evening. A bunch of guys came over to see why our party was rocking and stayed to dance with us for Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing. So hire us for your next event. You want to make sure your guests are having so much fun that they wouldn’t ever think of leaving.
We began with a lot of comedy, sing-a-longs, and call downs to get this group involved. Sometime it takes a little more of that with smaller groups. We love it though. With a smaller group like this Janesville Country Club Holiday Event, we have so much more time to really get to know the crowd and cater to each individual specifically. And this group had some great requests! One that we hardly ever receive is Rosanna by Toto. We love to sing that one so we were pretty happy. Of course, they also requested Right Said Fred’s I’m Too Sexy so there you go. By the end of the evening, each guest had removed at least one shoe and thrown it to the center of the dance floor. We’re not quite sure what that was all about, buy hey, we went with it anyway and played Nancy Sinatra’s These Boots Were Made for Walking.
So whether it’s a small gathering or a large group, we can make sure it will be a night to remember. Give us a call. You can read all about us by clicking here. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos is THE choice for the best holiday parties.
