The soft glow of the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, was the perfect backdrop for a night of music, laughter, and philanthropy. This wasn’t just any fundraiser; this was a Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos event, a night where elegance met fun, and the audience was treated to a symphony of hip hop classics.

Art, Auctions, and Dueling Pianos

The evening began with guests strolling through the fine art gallery, their eyes feasting on the artistic wonders that adorned the walls. As they ascended to the second level, they were greeted by the Fountain bar/restaurant, the stage for the live auction. The anticipation was palpable as each item was presented, but the real show was yet to begin.

On the third level, in the concert venue, the dueling pianos awaited. The stage was set, the pianos were tuned, and the audience was ready for a show they would not forget.

Robert’s Hip Hop Symphony

Robert, one of the talented pianists of Felix And Fingers, took the stage and immediately set the tone. His fingers danced across the keys, weaving together an incredible amount of hip hop music. From Waterfalls by TLC to Yeah by Usher to Push It by Salt n Pepa, Robert had everybody getting down right in front of the stage. The ladies in the audience, in particular, were swept up in the nostalgic tunes, their cheers and laughter echoing throughout the venue.

Jake’s Epic Solos

Not to be outdone, Jake took his turn at the keys, delivering epic piano solos that left the audience in awe. His rendition of Devil Went Down to Georgia saw him take on the roles of both Johnny AND the Devil, his fingers flying across the keys with a fiery intensity. His performance of Come Sail Away by Styx, complete with spaceship sound effects, had the audience in stitches. And when he launched into Jerry Lee Lewis’ Great Balls of Fire, complete with a feature foot solo, the crowd went wild.

The Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos event at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts was more than just a fundraiser. It was a night of music, fun, and community, a night where the elegance of the venue met the energy of the dueling pianos.
