If you’re searching for a grand, light-filled ballroom with panoramic views of the Mississippi River and Pettibone Park, check out the Cargill Room wedding event. Our performers for this FUN gathering were Katrina Nilsen and Greg Percifield. Felix and Fingers packed up and drove out to La Crosse, Wisconsin to perform a VERY successful dueling piano show. For this reason, everyone had a GREAT TIME! We wish Sophie and William a lifetime of love and happiness!

To begin with, the Cargill Room wedding event had guests talking for months. Everyone arrived at The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern ready to party. This venue has multiple elegant event rooms to chose from for your next reception, fundraiser, conference or banquet. Sophie and William chose The Cargill Room. Not only does this room provide two private bars, a coatroom, powder room and WiFi, but the customized lighting and projection systems were amazing. Our performers had the time of their life playing a HUGE mix of music for this fun loving crowd. This was in fact a dance all night audience. Cocktail hour had the photographer busy. With an open bar, everyone was showing off their great moves. Dinner was delicious. A sit down meal of grilled steak, green beans, mashed taters and GIANT peanut butter cookies was enjoyed by all.
Throw Back Songs and Groomsmen Traditions
After tearful speeches and tons of toasts, this crowd was ready to PARTY. Grandma had an arm sling. As a matter of fact, this was no ordinary sling. Grandma was a disco ball. This arm sling was LOADED with SPARKLY sequins! Our performers had EVERYONE dancing and singing all night long. Songs such as Marry You by Bruno Mars were a HIT. There was even a Conga line formed with staff jumping in at the end. We thought that was AWESOME!
Above all, our crowd seemed to have a distinct taste for throw back songs. All Star by Smash Mouth had our audience go CRAZY. On the other hand, we threw them a curve ball with a bit of Lizzo here and there. It was great to hear the crowd come together and sing Truth Hurts. They all sounded AMAZING. Even the groomsmen had a bit of their own fun dancing in their underwear to Piano Man by Billy Joel. Yes, that happened. The photographer captured some HILARIOUS pictures! We played Shout by the Isley Brothers as the last song of the night. The open bar ran out of booze which may or may not have helped everyone GET LOW on the floor when prompted!
