Felix and Fingers had a BLAST performing at the Bridle Barn wedding event! This stunning venue is located in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin and is a historical, re-purposed 1870’s horse barn. Bridle Barn Wedding Event Mount Horeb Wisconsin
If you’re dreaming of an elegant, rustic wedding event then Bridle Barn and Gardens is ideal for your big day. This amazing barn is located on 14 beautiful estate-like acres. It was a rainy day, but the weather couldn’t keep Matt and Nicole’s Bridle Barn wedding event from being AMAZING.
Luckily, despite the rain, Bridle Barn and Gardens has a STUNNING indoor space as a backup! In fact, a friendly and helpful staff outdid themselves transforming the barn into an incredible party and dance area. If you would like more information on Bridle Barn and Gardens please click here.
Felix and Fingers are mobile so we were able to take our equipment into the barn to perform for the ceremony. Robert and Michael played a variety of background music as the bride and groom exchanged vows. We also had a ton of fun playing Happy by Pharrell Williams for their recessional song. Everyone was up on their feet clapping, singing and having a great time!
Amazing Food and a Fun Night of Dancing
To begin with, cocktail hour was so much fun. Even on a drizzly day, this gorgeous barn nestled in Blue Valley presented with incredible views. With barn doors open and a gentle breeze, guests enjoyed a spin on the dance floor to songs such as American Girl by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The vibe was chill as everyone enjoyed Moscow Mules with apple cider under chandeliers and beautiful exposed beams.
A local food truck provided dinner and this was seriously some of THE BEST wedding food we’ve EVER tasted. As a matter of fact, the BBQ, mac n’ cheese and coleslaw were out of this world! The sweet table was UNREAL. Not only were there three types of cake pops, apple pie cups and S’mores brownies, but there were mini edible cookie dough cups!
Felix and Fingers kept the dance floor PACKED all night long. Our performers made sure everyone heard their song requests. Above all, we witnessed some really GREAT moves to songs such as Young Blood by Naked and Famous. Since Matt and Nicole opted out from a traditional first dance, they planned for a “last dance” with all their friends and family at the end of their reception. Robert and Michael had everyone dancing in a big circle around the bride and groom while playing our signature Piano Man by Billy Joel. This was indeed a perfect way to close out the Bridle Barn wedding event!
