Heidi’s 40th Birthday Party was a super fun event! Felix and Fingers took a drive out to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to play for an awesome private birthday bash. We love the diversity of our shows. For example we could be at a small house party during the day and at evening, a giant corporate event or wedding in a different town.
Heidi’s 40th Birthday Party
Performing for Heidi’s 40th Birthday Party was Peter of Felix and Fingers. Peter arrived prior to the party for set up at this private residence in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. On the whole, about 30 guests were waiting for Heidi to arrive as this was a surprise party. This large home held a great layout, everyone waited in the backyard for the guest of honor. As Heidi walked through the back door, all the guests jumped out of their hiding spots and yelled SURPRISE! Felix and Fingers always enjoy being a part of a great surprise party. Peter got in on the action by playing a few great entrance songs while Heidi greeted her guests. Let’s Get it Started by The Black Eyed Peas and Celebration by Kool and The Gang were great party starter songs!
Heidi’s 40th Birthday party was the talk of the town. A large BBQ smoker in the backyard was letting everyone know some really good chops and ribs were on their way. Red and white coolers were filled with sodas and beer for guests to help themselves. A hired bartender was pouring top shelf cocktails for those that wanted something stronger. Not only was there a ton of food, there was an impressive dessert table. Guests were encouraged to bring a dessert for the family style atmosphere.
Lakeside Festivities
Since this was a lakeside home, the views were outstanding. Everyone enjoyed delicious food and cocktails while Peter played instrumental music allowing guests to mingle and talk. As soon as dinner wrapped up, Peter kicked in to some awesome 80’s music. Songs like Livin’ on a Prayer by Bon Jovi and Billie Jean by Michael Jackson had everyone out on the patio dancing. One of the guests stepped up and took Peter’s microphone and started singing to Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing. She sang this song really well, all in the tone of Steven Perry! By the time Peter was finishing up the show, it looked like rain was heading in. The rain held off long enough for an amazing lakeside firework show put on by Heidi’s friends and family. All things considered with the rain, this event turned out to be a great surprise 40th Birthday Party!
