Our Maple Leaf Events Wedding Celebration, located in Stevenson, Washington, was one rockin’ party. Katy and William (bride & groom) chose to hold their special day on 5 private acres with views of the Cascade Mountains and the Columbia Gorge. Maple Leaf Events Wedding Venue welcomes all. Our solo player for this super-fun gig was Justin Lacey. Not only did Justin bring a high-energy show, but he had his audience dancing and singing all night long!

Photo Booths and Bon Bon Shaking
From cocktail hour to an outstanding dinner, Justin kept the music rolling and his crowd happy. During speeches, one of Katy’s bridesmaids cryptically mentioned a special dance. We’ll get to that soon. Did we mention it was a perfect day weather-wise? Until it started pouring towards the end of our show. No harm done, we were indoors where everything was perfect, despite the hard rain. Maple Leaf Events kept everything running like clockwork. What a pleasure to work with this venue’s staff. On point, friendly and so helpful. A big shout out to the staff for an helpful evening.
The second half of our show had Justin playing background music to the ever popular Shoe Game. In between cake, refreshments, dancing and fun, this game was quite entertaining for all. Remember the special song our bride was to perform? Shake Your Bon Bon by Enrique Iglesias had Katy hit the dance floor running. Justin DJ’d the song and it was a hit. Above all, a family member had set up a photo booth, much to the curiosity of all. Super-funny, candid shots made awesome Maple Leaf Events Wedding Celebration memories.
Our last song of the night was Piano Man by Billy Joel. By this time, Katy was wearing bunny ears and changing everyone’s hats around on their heads. It was perfect timing to gather everyone in a circle around the bride and groom. Friends and family crooned their love and support to their favorite couple. A perfect ending to a perfect night!
