Representing Felix and Fingers for The Springs Ranch wedding event were Heather Ray and Dan Holmes. Heather and Dan were also accompanied by our fantastic drummer, Kenneth “K.B.” Benson. Like old friends, these three performers clicked putting on an AMAZING show. The Springs wedding event was held at The Ranch, which is actually the first hall built on the property. The bride and her wedding party made a grand entrance followed by a lively cocktail hour. Our performers started by playing light background music while guests enjoyed champagne and passed appetizers. Everyone was HAPPY! After some funny toasts and heartfelt speeches, Brooke and Payson held their first dance alongside their parents. We’ve never seen anything like this. It was SO SWEET! Felix and Fingers kept the romantic ambiance during dinner by playing songs such as Arms of a Woman by Amos Lee. Oh and by the way, the mother of the bride even put together her own video during her speech. Not only was this video beautiful, but a wonderful memory indeed.
A Happy Bride and Groom
After an amazing dinner, Felix and Fingers could tell everyone was ready to party because requests started piling up on our pianos. We had no problem getting people out on the dance floor with songs such as Electric Boogie by Carousel and Hot in Herre by Nelly. This was one wild and crazy Springs Ranch wedding event crowd!
Felix and Fingers had a TON of FUN getting our audience to perform a sing off by splitting the room in two. Therefore, Treasure by Bruno Mars was a HIT! By the end of the night, the bride and groom held a special dance just for themselves. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when we finished playing Cheek to Cheek by Ella Fitzgerald.
