Felix and Fingers had a great time playing for a fun loving group of people at the Lutheran Church date night event. This was a SOLD OUT evening located at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church which is located in Houston, Texas. Our performers for this romantic show were Heather Ray and Dan Holmes. Not only was this gig a SUCCESS, but everyone went home very happy!

Dinner was DELISH. Our crowd sang along while enjoying their meal. Everyone was super impressed by our knowledge of their song requests. Songs such as Your Song by Elton John and All of Me by John Legend were a hit. There were also cute piano cookies for dessert. We thought that was so SWEET!
A Fun Photo Booth and Standing Ovations
Felix and Fingers LOVE to involve their audience with sing along songs. Therefore, Dan walked into the crowd with a handheld mic and chose people to sing along to Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks. This group really got into it! Our performers didn’t stop there and did a Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis play off. Dan and Heather had SO MUCH FUN physically switching pianos in between their solos. Not only did it look cool, but the crowd thought this was AWESOME!
Who knew the senior pastor had some extra fun up his sleeve? As a matter of fact, he brought us a STACK of TV theme song requests. Felix and Fingers took on the challenge and played snippets of ALL of them to our crowd’s delight!
What is more, the Lutheran Church date night event provided a photo booth with a frame promoting our show. This was a crowd-pleaser indeed. Above all, the last song of our night was Let it Be by the Beatles and everyone turned on their phone flashlights while swaying back and forth. We also performed a dueling harmonica bit for Piano Man by Billy Joel. Everyone thought this was NEAT. In the end, Dan and Heather received a standing ovation with tons of clapping and whistling from their audience.
