The event was center and space was HUGE and beautiful. The ballroom we were in was massive and we were only using a portion of it. As the guests entered the room, they were greeted by an impressive setup, with the stage taking center stage and captivating everyone’s attention. The AV and stage production team were fantastic. They were all very kind and helpful. We really had the late crowd going with the Latin dance tunes. One person lost it when Isaac started Selena and came up on stage to dance and try to sing on the microphone. The staff food spread behind the stage was wonderful – particularly the veggie lasagna-type dish. They had every kind of drink imaginable and even giant cookies. Once the company finished their award ceremony, we were given a 30-minute heads up to start time. This gave the guests time to start writing their requests and help us guide how we would start the show. Lots of people were ready to have fun with us! As we started the show, the room was so large that we were able to get the show started with good energy. A couple of tables were ready to get the show started with us as we began to sing along to the classics!
A Dance Party to Remember
Interest grew as more people gathered around the massive stage to sing and dance a little. There was a gentleman from Dallas, Texas, that stole the show with his dance moves once we kicked on some Michael Jackson! The room was cheering for him with so much excitement! The night went on, and the dancing began to take over with some Hispanic songs. So many people were dancing and singing along to Marc Anthony’s hit “Vivir Mi Vida.” It was a great moment, followed by a great overall night!
An Encore Request and Grateful Farewell
As we wrapped up the night with our last songs, the crowd in front of us began chanting, “one more song! One more song!” We were so flattered and grateful for the fun experience with Thales!
