Dueling Pianos is a national phenomenon and Felix and Fingers is a national company, and this show brought us to The Event Centre in Beaumont Tx for BridgePoint Church.

I don’t know where this venue came from, but we need The Event Centre in every city that we play. This gorgeous venue was almost out of place in Beaumont, but The Event Centre was a thrill to play in. Boasting a great stage and the nicest sound system I’ve seen in years, this venue was set up for anything.
With somewhere around 250-300 people for this Church celebration, The Event Centre accommodated the group beautifully. And The Event Centre even accommodated us with a green room – which is always a bonus! Love this venue though and hope for an opportunity to return.

BridgePoint Church Volunteer Celebration
From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a great event. We were performing in Beaumont for a celebration of the volunteers who work so hard to keep the BridgePoint Church running, so that in itself is an honor. The people at this event though were unbelievably hospitable and kind. We’ve played hundreds of shows but I’ve never been welcomed with a goodie basket. This one was filled with chocolate and a Texas staple, Dr. Pepper.
The show itself was a ton of fun. The crowd was perfect, singing and laughing with every song. Our volunteers were equally amazing providing a perfect example of how our cowbell competition should be played. These are the types of shows that we wish never end, it was a pleasure every minute of the way.

Favorite moment: trying to get a bunch of Texans to say “Yeehaw” with a terrible midwest accent. I never knew I was saying it wrong!
