YEE-HAW!! Felix and Fingers had the time of their life at the Abilene Christian School Annual Fundraiser “ACS in Lights.” One of the best things about crowdfunding is that you can hire us to raise money for virtually anything! This fundraiser was held at the notable Abilene Convention Center in Abilene, Texas. Everyone had a BLAST!

Who puts the FUN in fundraising? We do! Nevertheless, Felix couldn’t do it without the help of the ACS students. These happy go lucky students assisted in load-in and helping clear the stage for the main performance. They even helped reset the stage for our performance. Abilene Christian School integrates their Christian faith into everything they do. ACS exists to provide their students with an environment in which they thrive spiritually, academically and socially. As we pulled up to the Abilene Convention Center, help was actually waiting for us to get the show rolling. Felix and Fingers had a ton of fun at the Abilene Christian School Annual Fundraiser. We LOVED helping auction items. Furthermore, fundraisers are a strength of ours, along with other events. We had a blast auctioning off a father-son fishing trip that brought in a good chunk of change. Oh, and let’s not forget the pistol. Texas doesn’t mess around with its fundraising items. These two items raised a TON of money for the Abilene Christian School Annual Fundraiser! It was a lot of fun playing tunes such as Janie’s Got a Gun by Aerosmith for the pistol auction.
Yummy Cookies and Fun Live Auctions
Prior to our dueling show, the ACS students put on an excellent performance covering a wide range of numbers from musicals, especially Annie, directed by John Huston. These students sounded awesome. On the other hand, did we mention the catering was excellent? In all honesty though, the ACS In Lights cookies stole the show. Not only with full printing, but professionally iced décor to match the event. In reality, these cookies were quite the production!
Above all, we pumped out some fun dancing games. We put out a call for finding a long married couple. A wife of 59 years marriage proudly yelled out “We were married when I was young!” Felix asked them to give us a slow dance. The husband yelled out “We are Church of Christ, we don’t dance!” Well that went over like a lead balloon. The wife grabbed the husband by the arm and around the waist and burned up the floor. We kicked in to I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston. Nevertheless, the wife took the lead. We are pretty sure that’s the first time they’ve actually ever danced!
