Every year, Quirion Reality gives out a Q-Star to all of their top agents and throws a huge party to celebrate. This year, Felix and Fingers had the unique opportunity to perform the Quirion Realty Q-Star Awards! They held them at the beautiful TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Quirion Realty Q-Star Awards
Quirion did a great job of building anticipation for the Q-Star Awards. Everyone had to walk a red carpet to get in. The “paparazzi” set up a fun interactive photo booth (complete with props!) called Body Shots Magic Mirror. After everyone settled in, we heard from the keynote speaker, a US Army officer who had been injured in Iraq. He went on to help create technology to help other people in need. After that inspiring story, they started giving out the coveted Q-Stars. They were little crystalline statues that looked quite majestic. Just about 20 were given out and it was clear that each recipient would treasure their Q-Star dearly.
The Two Kinds of Music
After the Quirion Realty Q-Star awards were all given out, it was time to party! The heads of the company, “Stormin’ Norman” and “Tornado Tara” started us off by accepting our Heads, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes challenge (Tara won, but barely). That put everyone in the mood for some incredible songs. Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi got so many people to sing along we could feel the floors shake. The best part of night was when Stormin’ Norman declared there were only two kinds of music: country and western. Three back to back Garth Brooks followed, culminating in, you guessed it, Thunder Road.
